Shanxi University of Finance and Economics, founded in 1951, is one of China’s earliest institutions dedicated to financial education. With over 70 years of history, it has trained nearly 20,000 professionals and earned numerous provincial honors for excellence in education and Party-building. The school offers four undergraduate majors—Finance, Insurance, Financial Engineering, and Financial Technology—along with doctoral and master’s programs. Its Finance major is nationally recognized as a first-class discipline and features a provincial post-doctoral research station.   • A study plan of at least 800-1200 words;
  • Research proposal (at least 3000 words in Chinese or English).
  • Two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors.

  • Language proficiency certificates: TOEFL≥80, IELTS≥ 6.0 or Duo-lingo English Test ≥ 90; or Medium of Introduction Certificate.
  • Applicants who completed their previous studies in an English-taught program in a non-English-speaking country must submit an official letter from their university stating that the language of instruction was English.”
